In today's society, the use of Social Media has become a necessary daily activity. Social Media is typically used for social interaction and access to news and information, and decision making. It is a valuable communication tool with others locally and worldwide, as well as to share, create, and spread information.

The purpose of this Facebook page is to present matters of public interest to Lee County residents, businesses, and visitors of all ages and backgrounds in a moderated, online discussion board format. We encourage you to submit your questions, comments, and concerns about these matters by email or by submitting comments to particular posts. However, please note this Facebook page is NOT a public forum, but a moderated discussion board reviewed during normal business hours.

To further the purpose of this Facebook page, the Lee County Virginia Board of Supervisors will remove comments to posts that are: (1) clearly off topic; (2) spam (posts and or comments from fictitious pages or profiles); (3) advocacy for illegal activity; (4) vulgar; (5) personal attacks; or (6) inflammatory political, religious, racial, ethnic attacks. The comments posted during the discussion do not reflect the official opinions and positions of the Lee County Virginia Board of Supervisors, its representatives, and employees.
